Developmental/Senior Editor for Technology Clients
We are looking to build out our developmental and senior editorial teams to help us ensure quality control on a variety of deliverables for technology clients.
The required responsibilities/skills include the following:
- A comprehensive knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition
- Experience with process guides and collaborative work
- Reviewing and assessing project deliverables for meeting style, grammar, and content specifications
- Coaching new writers and/or editors
- Giving and receiving copious amounts of feedback
Here’s a little more information on the developmental editor position:
- Location: Work from anywhere! This position is freelance and remote.
- Workload: This is flexible; however, we are looking for some editors who can commit to a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week.
- Pay: Pay is based on the project type and service line, but project pay is based on a minimum $25/hour rate, with higher pay available based on volume and expertise.
- There are two tests, One for senior editing and one for developmental editing. You may take one or both.
Technical Writing
We are looking to build out our technical writing team to help us create quality content for a variety of deliverables, including case studies and blogs.
The required responsibilities/skills include the following:
- A basic knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition
- Experience with process guides and collaborative work
- Cheerfully receiving and implementing feedback
- Note: A background knowledge of or interest in technology or computer science is helpful but not required.
Here’s a little more information on the technical writing position:
- Location: Work from anywhere! This position is freelance and remote.
- Workload: This is flexible; however, we are looking for writers who can commit to a minimum of ten (10) hours per week.
- Pay: Pay varies based on experience, skill, and assignment, but as a guide, a writer working on a standard 1,000-word case study can expect to earn $150–$300.
- We offer one test for this writing position.
