Associate Video Editor
Elite Editing is a full-service content creation firm dedicated to producing high-quality materials for a wide variety of clients. Along with our sister company, Elite Authors, we offer content, publishing, and creative support for companies of all sizes.
We are looking for a highly skilled Associate Video Editor to create a variety of eye-catching design collateral for our enterprise clients. This position will work with direction provided by the Elite Editing production and editorial teams to ensure delivery of high-quality and on-brand product delivery.
This is a remote freelance (1099) position that requires a response time of one business day or less. Pay is commensurate with experience and may be hourly or flat rated depending on the project.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Editors and Producers, including prepping projects, initial assembly, and project organization
- Edit short-form content for web, LinkedIn, YouTube, and various social platforms from start to finish
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of video post-production experience
- Ability to turn projects around in 24-48 hours
- Understanding of/experience in video editing standards and procedures
- Understanding of/experience in basic graphics, titles, and motion graphics
- Understanding of/experience in basic audio mixing
- Understanding of/experience in captioning and subtitling
- Ability to deliver fully finished video files in standard formats
- Possession of necessary equipment and software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)
Workspace requirements:
- Access to a computer and stable high-speed internet
- Ability to commit to taking recurring monthly work
- Ability to communicate on our company Slack account, if required
