February 28, 2010 – Elite Editing continues its partnership with the online authors’ community BookRix with the My Best Fiction writing contest. Jury voting will take place until May 31, 2010.
BookRix members are invited to submit their best fiction, of any genre. The BookRix community is then encouraged to vote for their favorites, selecting the top 10 books that will be passed along to an independent jury.
Jennifer Rotner, owner of Elite Editing, will sit on that judging panel of professional editors and writers. “We’re thrilled to participate in the BookRix contests,” Rotner says. “BookRix is a powerful forum for sharing ideas and is a supportive environment for authors. As an editor, it’s exciting to have direct access to this talented community.”
The first place prize is $1,000 and the second and third place entries will be awarded $500 and $300 respectively.
Elite Editing is deeply involved with the BookRix authors’ community and moderates a popular forum on the BookRix site, overseeing an ongoing conversation between proofreaders, editors and writers.
